How Our Character Creates Our Destiny with Sara Goggin Young
Wednesday Jul 06, 2022
Wednesday Jul 06, 2022
"With the power to believe, you can achieve." Sara's "Bumper Sticker" Quote from today. 💝
Sara did something truly courageous with her life that later snowballed into a beautiful, everlasting mindset.
Sara is a mother who was once working in law, healing from a terrible knee injury, recovering in her sobriety and processing childhood trauma when she woke up one day and felt called to reach beyond herself. To go within, and to go with faith toward doors that were open for her. She ended up moving (literally) her ENTIRE life to something brand new in her early forties! New location, new home, new career, new mindset, new everything. It sounds frightening and hard, doesn't it? But for Sara, and many others, it truly pays off.
After realizing that her thoughts and circumstances were not life happening to her (they were happening for her), she is now EMPOWERED in self-love.
I hope you listen, subscribe and enjoy today's episode, feeling as moved and inspired as I feel.
Blessings to you!
"You are not just 'trying'. You are DOING it."

EP: 10 Life Decluttering w/Kate Evans. How it helps our mental and emotional well being.
Wednesday Feb 03, 2021
Wednesday Feb 03, 2021
Kate Evans is the owner of Soulful Space and is a life coach with a passion for home and life decluttering. She has a blog designed to help you attend to your Mind, Body, Soul, and Space and is working on a book on decluttering that will address all of the mental and emotional difficulties that come up so that you can finally take action and sustain change.
How you ever found yourself looking at your closets and areas in your home and thinking to yourself, gosh, this is overwhelming; where do I begin? And you instantly feel defeated. A cluttered home and the behaviors associated with it can significantly impact our self-esteem and health, affecting all aspects of our lives.
Study after study shows that a messy environment can negatively affect your well-being. The Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin measured how 60 women discussed their quality of life in their homes. Women who described their living spaces as "cluttered" or full of "unfinished projects" were, not surprisingly, more likely to be depressed and lethargic than women who described their homes as "restful" and "restorative."
In this episode, we discussed the importance of decluttering your space and the effects of not having a clear space can have on your health overall. The Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin measured how 60 women discussed their quality of life in their homes. Women who described their living spaces as "cluttered" or full of "unfinished projects" were, not surprisingly, more likely to be depressed and lethargic than women who described their homes as "restful" and "restorative." Many of us can relate to this
You will learn:
- Whether you're decluttering your head or your home, you must declutter first.
- When we organize our clutter, we are just organizing chaos.
- What purpose this serves. Whether it's a dust-covered vase or a relationship, you need to create awareness of the intention of everything to live an intentional life.
- Decide what you're keeping because you love it, and its presence energizes you.
- Decide what you're tossing because, if you're honest with yourself, you have no real use for it, and it's draining your energy.

EP:8 SELF BETRAYAL- EP6 HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE BETRAYING YOURSELF AND HOW TO STOP.
Wednesday Nov 04, 2020
Wednesday Nov 04, 2020
Your relationship with yourself is the foundation for everything you want in life.
The worst betrayal you will ever experience in life is not from others but yourself. When we are self-sabotaging ourselves, we do not accept and love ourselves for who we are. Most of us don't know that we are betraying ourselves; we always look at how other people are betraying us and not take responsibility for how we could be betraying ourselves.
Most people start from childhood—what you were told about yourself, your experiences, and what you were taught as a child. We tend to carry this behavior for years; it becomes apart of who we are. We sometimes do not recognize it.
In this episode, I talk about what self-betrayal looks like and the cost of betraying yourself. I had to do an introspection of self by paying attention to my emotions, feelings, and behavior patterns during that process, which was not easy. I was able to identify that I've been betraying myself for so many years.
This is a critical topic, especially for those we are on their spiritual or self-discovery journey. This is one of the areas that one needs to work on to become the best version of yourself.
We teach people how we treat us; how we treat ourselves affects all relationships we have in our lives.
If you are looking to dive deeper and learn more about self-betrayal. I am here to guide you. Contact me at www.isabeldraughon.com
